Noon Year's Eve: Silent Disco
We are celebrating the New Year with a Noon Year’s Eve: Silent Disco party for the kiddos! Come dance on Tulsa’s BEST (and heated) patio with DJ Majda and DJ Kylie on December 31 from 11:30am-1:30pm. We will have 100 headsets that are free to use on a first come, first served basis. As headsets are returned, we will sanitize and put back out for the next person to enjoy!
BONUS: The WEL Bar will have a hot chocolate bar set up for delicious kiddo (and adult) drinks
Kids Cooking Class - January
Chefs Bill and Mikael are excited to present their New Years Menu! This class is designed to teach students recipes that can be replicated at home with minimal assistance as well as introducing them to new skills and product! Teamwork is also a very important component to the class structure. Looking forward to seeing your young chefs, soon!
Menu Includes:
Vegetarian Chili - Students will experience Product ID and tasting of a variety of beans/peas and tomatoes and then, in teams, produce their chili.
Green Chile Cheddar Cornbread - Teams will produce batter and each student will prepare their own mini cornbreads
Thumb Print Cookies - Each student will form their own cookies and fill with jam

Want to know what a Prop Swap is? A "propagation swap" is an event where plant enthusiasts gather to exchange plant cuttings, also known as "propagations", from their own plants, allowing people to expand their collection by taking home new varieties to root and grow themselves; essentially, it's a plant swap focused on sharing plant parts that can be propagated into new plants.

Welcome to our next Chef's Talk with Alex Figueira of Doctor Kustom! Let's get ready to talk sauce with our favorite Brazilian 🇧🇷
Join us on Thursday, November 14, to learn how to make the perfect Doctor Kustom Fresh Herbs Sauce. Alex will demonstrate how he crafts his classic Brazilian sauce that pairs perfectly with steak. All class participants will get to taste test the sauce with a slice of Doctor Kustom's famous Picanha steak!

Kids Cooking Master Class - November
Chefs Bill and Mikael will guide students in preparation of (3) classic Holiday pies to bake on site and take home to enjoy. Flavors of pies include Pumpkin, Pecan and Chocolate.
Activities Include:
Preparation of traditional pie crust and cookie crust and proper placement in pie tins/design work
Preparation of pie fillings (includes knife skills, measuring and placement of filling in crust)
Introduction to kitchen and proper baking techniques
Aprons for each new student will be provided to take home.

Mother Road Market is turning SIX and to celebrate we are hosting a food eating contest, the likes of which Route 66 has never seen! Emceed by Chubbs from 106.9 K-Hits on Tulsa’s BEST patio, contestants will have 66 minutes to eat one dish from each merchant at Mother Road Market - that’s 13 delicious dishes 🍔🍕🥑🍟 Check out the full list of food and rules then register because we’ve only got 25 spots! ⏰ November 2nd at 11:30am 🏆 Winner(s) receive a refund of their entry fee, a Mother Load Food Challenge “winner” t-shirt, free mini golf for one year, and bragging rights for a lifetime.

RULES
Each challenger MUST agree to, and sign our waiver of liability.
Contestants must be 16 years of age or older. If younger than 18, contestants must have parental consent.
Contestants are required to pre-pay a $66 entry fee (plus sales tax) to participate in the Mother Load Food Challenge.
Contestants have five (5) minutes to complete each course. Contestants must finish each dish before proceeding. If contestants do not finish the dish within the five minute period, they are disqualified.
Contestants have one extra minute for the last course for a total of 66 minutes.
No substitutions allowed.
Contestants should not participate if they have any food allergies.
Contestants will be provided the following condiments: soy sauce, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, and hot sauce. No other condiments will be allowed.
Contestants can drink water during the challenge.
Dunking food in water is not permitted.
Contestants must wait for the signal to begin eating and may not touch the first dish prior to the starting signal. Not following this rule will result in disqualification.
Once contestants have started, they are not allowed to stand up, leave the table, or have anyone else touch the food.
Contestants must stop eating at the ending signal. Not following this rule will result in disqualification.
Contestants may NOT put an additional bite or utensil in their mouths after the ending signal, but will be allowed 15 seconds to swallow any food in their mouth.
Contestants will be disqualified if they vomit or regurgitate during the contest.
Contestants will be disqualified if anyone assists them. This includes cutting, preparing or eating their food.
Mother Road Market representatives will be on hand to assure adherence to contest rules and to disqualify any contestant who fails to adhere to rules.
Mother Road Market has final authority regarding all contest-related matters.
AWARD
Contestants that successfully complete the Mother Load Food Challenge will receive:
A refund of the $66 entry fee.
A Mother Load Food Challenge "winner" t-shirt.
Free mini golf once a week for one year. Non-transferable, redeemable only by winner.
